Gessy Alvarez is a Latinx writer who loves literature, art, photography, and this dysfunctional world. She writes stories, poems, and essays about the middle of things. Her prose has appeared in Sunlight Press, Asteri(x), Feminine Collective, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Hobart, and other publications. She’s the founder of Digging Press and the literary and arts journal, Digging Through The Fat. She curates and hosts the Digging Through monthly reading series in the Red Room at KGB Bar, NYC.
