Her novel The Naked Shopper was named first runner-up in the Red Hen Press "Quill Prose Award" in 2019. She has an MFA in Fiction from Columbia University, a JD from Columbia, and a delightful seven year old daughter named Fin. She's author and updating editor of the nation’s first LGBTQ legal treatise, Sexual Orientation and the Law, published by Thomson Reuters.
